Why attend the HC2010 conference?
The UK's leading event in Health and Social Care informatics will provide something for everyone involved in the planning and delivery of care and treatment: doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, managers, technicians, and informatics professionals.
HC2010 will be a 3 day conference and exhibition showcasing some of the best and most current technical systems, services and solutions used to support care and treatment in the world today. As well as current best practice, and examples of leading edge technology, the conference will include contributions from policy makers, and examples of innovative strategic and tactical practice across the world of health and social care informatics.

The conference is currently supporting 12 whole day streams covering topics including Professionalism & Development, Care Across Boundaries, Using Information to Support Care, the social and cultural impact of ICT and the development of national policy. The ASSIST national conference will run alongside the event this year, and special focus streams will specifically provide clinical and regional showcases, where clinicians and local informatics services will present their practical experiences of applying information and technology to improve care. Informing Healthcare will have a special input into the event and international contributions will come from Italy, France, Spain, Canada and Australia.
